I use about 3 pounds of ground sirloin or ground chuck for this.
1 Box of Stove top Stuffing
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 C dry white cooking wine
1/2 C Milk
Make stove top according to package directions.
Make 4 or 5 very large hamburger patties. About the size of a 45 record.
Put a blob of stuffing in the middle of the patty. Make sure you leave enough room to close the patty up into a little pocket. I would say a good large spoonful is all you will need. Yes, you will have left over stuffing that you either save or serve with the meal.
Fold up the hamburger around the stuffing and put in 9X13 baking dish.
Put in oven on 350 and bake for an hour.
Mix together soup, wine and milk and pour over top of pockets and let them cook for another 7 min. Serve with left over stuffing and vegetable or salad.
Enjoy my friend.
Kathy!
